On 15th January 2026, guests are invited to celebrate at Harbour Court, where a special Thai Pongal Buffet will be served for both lunch and dinner. Available from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at LKR 6,500 nett per person, and 6:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. at LKR 7,900 nett per person, the buffet presents a vibrant culinary journey inspired by South Indian traditions. The spread includes a variety of savoury and sweet Pongal dishes, Indian salads, a lively Pani Puri and Papdi Chaat station, assorted Vada and Samosa, and a live Dosa counter accompanied by traditional condiments. Guests can further enjoy an extensive selection of vegetable curries, a dedicated Biryani station, signature South Indian desserts, and specially curated Thai Pongal-inspired cocktails and mocktails. The dining experience is complemented by live music by Murgesh, creating an atmosphere that is both festive and culturally immersive.
For those who wish to celebrate in their own space, The Kingsbury also offers a Thai Pongal Platter, thoughtfully assembled with traditional favourites and ideal for sharing with family and friends. Priced at LKR 8,500 nett per platter, it allows the spirit of the festival to be enjoyed beyond the hotel.
